BOOK GRANTS
The Willing Workers Book Grant Program was started in 1999, prompted by a generous
memorial contribution from the family of a dear friend and long-time supporter, Vernetta
Bryant. Currently, $300 grants are provided to eligible college students for up to four years
while matriculating in an undergraduate program.
ADOPT-A-STUDENT
The organization has assisted a number of high school students with special financial needs,
which includes graduation fees, clothing, transportation, and other personal items.
